I've never taken a taxi before, how does it all work?

 First, when your ready for your taxi call 847-888-3990 or 630-529-3990, tell the dispatcher where you are and where you need to go. He/she will then tell you approximately how long it will take for the vehicle to get there.
If you need to be picked up at a specific time (placing a time call), let the dispatcher know. You may also request certain types of cars- a minivan, non-smoking, female driver, spanish speaking driver, etc.
We don't charge to come to you; you get charged only from your starting point to your drop off point. Our rates are listed on the website. We do not have an automated phone system, there will ALWAYS be someone LIVE to talk to. You may call to get price estimates, a current waiting time in a specific town, or the status of your taxi.

What is the average waiting time for a taxi?

 Our waiting time is 5 to 20 minutes in normal weather conditions.

Do the dispatchers give my personal information out to anyone? 

Not unless a subpoena from the court, or there is a serious police issue at hand. Otherwise, we will never tell anyone where you got picked up from or went to. Your privacy matters.

 Why don't you take my phone number to let me know when my taxi is outside?

 If you call for a taxi, you should be ready, waiting and watching; there should be no need for a call out. It saves us time and money not having to do so.

Are all time calls guaranteed to be on time? 

We make all time calls top priority. On occasion, we could be running slightly behind. You must always give yourself a little extra time when planning in case of the unexpected.

During unusual weather conditions, sometimes makes it almost impossible to keep our schedules.

Do I pay for tolls or extra people who may ride with me?

There are NO hidden charges. You would NOT have to pay for extra people or tolls. The cost is based per vehicle, not per person.

What if I have a $100 bill and the driver doesn't have change?

Normally the drivers will not have change for anything higher than a $50, you would have to go and make change somewhere and meter would still run for that stop.

How come you don't give anyone flat rates or discounts?

 The reason why we have meters in our vehicles is to know how to properly charge you- flat rates are for limousines, not taxi's. We have regular customers for 15-20 years riding with us, no one gets discounts, everyone is treated equally.

Can I Have an Alcoholic Drink in the Cab?
No, taxi's are not like Limo's. There is are no particians and no open liquor is allowed in the vehicles.

  Are you hiring drivers?

 Our owner operators are ALWAYS looking for full & part time drivers. You must be 23 or older, with a good MVR (motor vehicle report from secretary of state). Many of the police departments will conduct background checks, therefore, any type of sex offender need not apply.
